Cement Free Hemp Blocks
Hemp blocks are a carbon negative, energy efficient, natural building product given an A+ rating by BRE.

These hemp blocks are composed of industrial hemp shiv (a waste product from the hemp fibre industry), natural slaked lime and a mixture of other natural minerals. They do not contain any cement
and are naturally air dried. The blocks have similar costs to traditional building materials with a series of advantages including:

• Carbon negative material: Hemp absorbs carbon dioxide as the plant grows and the blocks continue to absorb carbon for the lifetime of the building.

• Produces no toxic by-products and are fully recyclable.

• Enhanced insulation properties with very low U values delivering lower costs for heating and cooling requirements.

• Functions as a moisture regulator providing a dryer and healthier interior environment.

• Absorbs sound and vibration and are non-flammable (0 rated).

• Easy fabrication with numerous block modules used with structural support systems.

• Cost savings including: Lightweight materials allow for shallower foundations, minimum wet work required on site, a faster build with reduced labour costs.

Eco Roof Slates
Comprised of recycled plastic and natural minerals, Eco Roof Slates are easier to install
with the look and feel of real slate.

High-impact resistance (class 4, the highest possible) and moss and mildew resistant. Due to the fact that damages cannot occur, the expensive cost of maintenance is massively reduced.

Quicker and easier to install. They do not require a specialist roofer as are so simple to use. They cut with a knife or snips adding to installation speed and means powered tools are not required. Multiple fitters can easily work on the same area of the roof at one time, increasing speed of installation vastly.

Close boarded system. The slates are nailed straight onto the board with a breathable membrane in between, with no need for batons. This reduces the product and labour costs for a warm roof system. For cool roof systems it leaves a stronger, more durable roof than one fitted solely with batons.

Self bonding overtime creating a solid membrane that is impenetrable & thermally efficient. They do not unbind, even in extreme weather conditions.

Lightweight in comparison with other roofing products.

Eco Slates have UV inhibitors all the way through and only a 10% colour variation can be expected over their lifetime, less than natural slate.

Slates are very flexible and can be used for all valley, cap and ridge areas.

ClassA fire rating

• Class4 impact rating

• 50year non-prorated warranty
